Fish

The fish darts here and there,

In the tank that's round not square

Under the coral, over the rocks,

Against the side of the glass it knocks

Its silvery scale it shines and gleams,

Making some beautiful golden beams

Weaving its way

Throughout the day

My Family

There is a shark, a fierce looking shark

It hunts for meat and bears its teeth

Protecting his family

I call him Dad

There's also a whale

It listens carefully

And protects her young

She is the mother of fishes

There is a swordfish. It has a long nose

It saw things for no reason

I call him brother

And finally, me

I am the dolphin, happy and playful

I am the sister in the family

MY ZOO

I own a zoo,
A really small zoo
It only has five animals
I call it my family

It has a hard-working ant,
He can do all kinds of work
He works all day without stopping
I call him dad

It has a wild lion,
She works all day too
But she roars at me angrily when I do something wrong,
I call her mum

It has a turtle,
He works really slowly
He is also very old,
I call him grandpa

It has a monkey,
A really naughty monkey
She plays tricks on you all day and she doesn't do her homework,
I call her silly sister

There is also a mouse,
A really tiny and weak mouse
I think you know who she is,
She is ME!

The Animal House

I have a giraffe, a funny and friendly one
He always likes to play golf
He eats a lot of rice and he jokes when I play
He is always out most of the day
I call him daddy

I also have a swan
She also works all day, but at home
She is gentle, kind and caring
She is always there when I need her
I call her mummy

I have a dog, a fierce one
He is sometimes good
When he is in a good mood;
He is sometimes bad
When he is in a bad mood
I call him little brother

Then there is me
I know who I am
I'm the happy kitten

The Piranha

You're at the river
for a joyful day
but you don't know
what price you'll pay
Something's in the water.
But what do you do?
You don't bother

You jump in the river
and start to play
As it swims in shoals
closer to your way
Something dark, something grey
something looking for its prey
Something deadly, something fast
something you cannot get past
It bites your flesh
while you're still alive
and you struggle hard
to survive
But suddenly, all turns black
and you realize you
can never go back
Darkness washes over you
like a wave,
and death has carried
you to your grave
