The Investor and Financial Education Council (IFEC) aims to encourage stakeholders to provide investor and financial education to the people of Hong Kong, with the goal of enhancing their financial literacy. By empowering individuals with improved financial understanding, they will be better equipped to manage their finances, ultimately leading to enhanced financial well-being.

Our Economics teachers, Mr. T.K. Yam and Mr. A. Chen, received the Gold Award in the IFEA Teaching (Teaching Division) at IFEC 2024, distinguishing themselves among all primary, secondary, and tertiary institutions. The ceremony took place on 6 March 2025, with Mr. Christopher Hui, the Secretary for Financial Services and the Treasury, as our Guest of Honour.

The awarded program, the School-Based Young Investor Program, aims to enhance the financial well-being and literacy of students, equipping them with essential skills for future challenges. It fosters interest in finance, entrepreneurship, and financial technology.
