TO ALL PAULINIANS - OPEN CALL FOR ARTWORKS SUBMISSION BY 30 OCT 2024
With the celebration of St. Paul’s Convent School's 170th anniversary, we are excited to announce an open call for artwork submissions for our upcoming exhibition titled “Roots and Wings”. The exhibition will take place from 7 (Monday) to 21 (Monday) April 2025 at various locations within the campus, and we invite you (Paulinians and current students) to showcase your art and creativity.

Theme: Roots and Wings
Exhibition period: 7 to 21 April 2025
Venue: Smart Oasis (G/F outdoor, 1/F room) and G6 of St. Paul’s Convent School
Submission criteria
Deadline: 30 October 2024

Part 1 Artwork Submission What to submit? Any artworks (old and new), crafts, creative projects, floral arrangements, video/media work, architectural models and drawings, participatory art, etc. for your idea. Please specify each file name or artwork description “artwork title, year, medium, dimensions, ideal way to exhibit, current location of the work); your biography and statement (if any)
Part 2 Workshops (if any) These workshops will be led by you for current SPCS students to produce group artworks. The final outcome will be exhibited in April 2025 with the exhibition.
Production period: November 2024 to March 2025 Workshop dates and times:
First term: 15/11, 29/11, 6/12, 13/12
Second term: 6/1, 17/1, 21/2, 7/3, 14/3, 21/3, 28/3 2:00pm-3:10pm and/or 3:20pm-4:30pm
Number of students: 10 (approx.)
Medium: Any 2D, 3D, 4D or mixed media
What to submit? A proposal including 1) brief description of the artwork, 2) medium, 3) skills students can learn, 4) whether the work is to be displayed indoor/ outdoor
